Our Values

In addition to our Boundless DNA, these are declarations and commitments we make:

We Practice Infinitum.

Everything runs smoother and syncs up when our work is rooted in discipleship to Jesus. We see Jesus inviting us into the life postures of surrender, generosity, and mission and our initiatives are postured this way as well.

We Empower Others.

We are not gatekeepers, we are encouragers, equippers and givers-away. We trust that there is room enough for us all, so even if we spend the rest of our lives working our way out of a job by giving it to others, there will always be enough kingdom work to go around. We believe in the power and protection of volunteers.

We Journey Jesus’ Downward Mobility.

We are not an empire looking to conquer, we are an ecosystem being nurtured to thrive.

We serve the poor, the marginalized, the wounded, the outcast.

We believe everything and everyone is redeemable.

We Take Initiative.

We will function best together as co-creators, not managers of employees. Our pace is quick and our assumption is self-leadership in informed decisions as well as requesting the input, feedback, and info we might need to do that.

We Honour Diversity.

The celebration of diversity IS unity. We don’t find comfort in a consensus of ideas, we find comfort in the reality that a diversity of voices speaking into an idea gives a good idea its best shot at a great execution. We acknowledge the harm and societal presence of inequities, so we have committed to doing the work of being an anti-racist and equitable organization.

We are Healing.

We commit to each other a continued quest toward liberation … from our past wounds and triggers toward our shared dreams of a kingdom where heaven comes to earth, and toward our mutual thriving. We are beautiful works in progress being shaped by love and community.

We Embrace Change.

We are a movement … an entrepreneurial space that is ever-shifting. If you’re seeking the comfort of routine and getting all the boxes checked, our space will feel frustrating to you and, perhaps, even violating. We are intentional and strategic, but we are organized for movement. We have systems and we leverage technology to keep us sane, but we adapt on the fly and hold no loyalty to what was or what was planned if it stands in the way of what’s needed.

We Love the Family.

We aren’t mandated to cheer on our sibling Initiatives. No one is requiring us to show up at Boundless Family gatherings. There is no quota of collaborations to be done per year … and yet, to be part of the Boundless Family is to voluntarily open our hearts and ministry to one another.

We are Gentle with Ourselves.

We have been released from the prison of needing to do it all.

We Understand Exile and Belonging.

Since we do justice work, it’s wise to acknowledge that we (and those in our midst) are exiles all searching for belonging. We work in a trauma-informed fashion, we’re mindful that we are in relationships and not contracts, and we lean into the skill sets of vulnerability and affirmation.

We are Boundless.

Our life postures of surrender, generosity, and mission challenge us daily to live in an openhanded, abundant manner, not only with our Boundless Family, but also with the world. A mentality of scarcity works like a cancer to the human spirit, so we lean into the reality of Ephesians 3 and God’s deep and unending love to give us the courage to live lives of abundance.

Love God, love people, & get it done.
